Famous the world over, pizza has evolved into a fusion of international cuisines, at Giro D’Italia we are passionate about keeping in with traditional Italian recipes with a mix of modern Australian.
After completing an Oenology and Viticulture Degree in the Veneto Region of Northern Italy, Chef Stefano left his hometown in 2014 in search of the Australian dream.
Stefano headed to the Margaret River Region in search of a job growing grapes and making wine, instead he took a job as a pizza chef at a popular local winery/restaurant and hasn’t looked back.
Having grown up with an appreciation for food and traditional recipes, Stefano supported himself throughout his studies by working as a pastry chef at local Patisserie in the city of Vicenza, he began to see this as his true calling.
A few years later he headed up to Perth and got a job as a pizza chef at a restaurant in Cottesloe then headed further up the coast to work in a popular, fast paced, high volume restaurant as Head Pizza Chef and Chef de Partie.
Collectively, we at Giro D’Italia have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and with the acquired skills and knowledge we not only want our customers to eat well but receive a high standard of service.
We offer a personalised service and we will do our best to customise our options to suit your individual needs.
